BAD NEWS! Colin Kaepernick is Coming Back to the NFL [Details]

Unemployed quarterback Colin Kaepernick may soon find himself wearing an NFL jersey once again. Meaning, we’ll have to watch him take a knee for the national anthem – again. Kaepernick’s lawyer just said he believes his client will be signed to a team “in the next 10 days.”

From Bleacher Report:

Colin Kaepernick Lawyer Mark Geragos Expects QB to Sign Contract Within 10 Days

Mark Geragos, the attorney for Colin Kaepernick, said Tuesday he expects the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback to be signed within 10 days.

During an appearance on The Adam Carolla Show, Geragos had this response when asked to give a prediction about Kaepernick’s future.

“I think within the next 10 days somebody will sign him,” he said. “I think somebody’s gonna sign him. I think the NFL has to come to their senses, and realize every day that goes by just proves the collusion case even more.”

Kaepernick filed a collusion lawsuit against the NFL owners on Oct. 15 after he was unable to get a team to sign him during the offseason and at the start of the regular season.

USA Today points says the New England Patriots could be a good match for Kaepernick:

Why Colin Kaepernick and Bill Belichick are a perfect match

Bill Belichick can solve a lot of problems with one phone call.

The New England Patriots need a backup quarterback now that they’ve traded soon-to-be free agent Jimmy Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers. The NFL needs someone to sign Colin Kaepernick to disprove suspicions the league has blackballed the quarterback who started the player protest movement. And Kaepernick needs a job.

It makes too much sense for it not to happen.

Yes, Kaepernick remains a polarizing figure despite not being on a sideline all season. The protests during the national anthem have continued in his absence, and President Donald Trump has used them to further divide an already fractious nation.

After Trump called protesting players “SOBs” and suggested NFL owners fire them, Patriots fans were among those who booed kneeling players the next game.

Colin Kaepernick, a patriot? HA! Other teams rumored to sign Colin: Arizona, Cleveland, Indianapolis.
