Disgraced FBI Director James Comey’s new tell-all does exactly everyone expected – bashes President Donald Trump.
During an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Comey says 45 is “morally unfit” to be president.
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: You write that President Trump is unethical, untethered to the truth. Is Donald Trump unfit to be president?
JAMES COMEY: Yes. But not in the way m– I often hear people talk about it. I don’t buy this stuff about him being mentally incompetent or early stages of dementia. He strikes me as a person of above average intelligence who’s tracking conversations and knows what’s going on. I don’t think he’s medically unfit to be president. I think he’s morally unfit to be president.
Fox News has more:
The same day that the fired FBI Director James Comey was set to appear in a long-awaited TV interview, he engaged in a back-and-forth slugfest with President Trump Sunday on Twitter.
Plugging his new book, “A Higher Loyalty,” Comey seemed to take a thinly veiled shot at Trump. “My book is about ethical leadership & draws on stories from my life & lessons I learned from others. 3 presidents are in my book: 2 help illustrate the values at the heart of ethical leadership; 1 serves as a counterpoint,” he tweeted. Comey’s ABC News interview airs Sunday night.
Comey needs to go away.
Unfortunately, he’s sticking around and using the same tactics as Hillary Clinton in order to make a quick buck.
