NFL legend Herschel Walker is an American patriot who doesn’t care to see current players kneeling during the national anthem.
The former college football Heisman trophy winner is also a big fan of President Trump, having first gotten to know him when playing for the Trump-owned USFL.
Check out Walker’s kind words for the leader of the free world, who is set to attend the college football national championship game between Alabama and Georgia (Walker’s alma mater)…
Former NFL player Herschel Walker praised Donald Trump on Monday, calling him a “great man.”
“Donald Trump is a great man, great president, and I wish people can understand that,” Walker told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” program, noting that he played on a United States Football League team that Trump owned.
Walker was a member of the New Jersey Generals in the USFL during the 1980s.

More on Walker, per NY Post:
Herschel Walker, the ex-NFL luminary, is firing on all cylinders for America’s military heroes and first responders — hot on the heels of his recent criticism of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for not quelling the national anthem protests.
Walker’s latest patriotic fervor comes with a super prize for a hero of the US uniformed and emergency services: a free customized, hand-painted, American-made 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, worth $80,000.
“I absolutely think the protests are so upsetting, and I blame the commissioner,” he said.
“I know people are going to be angry when I say it, but he should have stopped the protests at the very beginning.”
Ya gotta love it!
Herschel loves his country and is tired of the left trying to ruin it!
