Democrats have zero problem bending to the will of Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terror.
Likewise, they have no problem embracing noted anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam.
However, the mainstream media has been silent over reports of three Democrat Congress members attending a private dinner with both Farrakhan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
From Daily Caller:
Three Democratic congressmen attended a private dinner hosted by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in 2013, a new report reveals.
Reps. Keith Ellison of Minnesota, Andre Carson of Indiana and Gregory Meeks of New York attended the private dinner, along with Louis Farrakhan, a notorious anti-Semite who leads the black supremacist group Nation of Islam.
Iran is the number one state sponsor of terrorism, according to the United States government, which has listed the Islamic Republic as a state sponsor of terror since 1984. Rouhani was in New York for a United Nations meeting and held the dinner party just hours after speaking to the UN General Assembly.
Final Call, a Nation of Islam publication, noted the three Democrats’ attendance at the time and included photos of Ellison and Meeks at the dinner party. But aside from the Final Call article, the three Democrats’ presence at the dinner remained secret until a Wall Street Journal column revealed it on Friday. None of the three congressmen’s offices responded to The Daily Caller’s request for comment for this article.
Democrat Rep. Danny Davis has gone on record singing the praises of extremist Louis Farrakhan who he called an “outstanding human being” in an interview with the conservative Daily Caller.
Davis hails from Illinois’ 7th Congressional District which includes a chunk of murder-ridden Chicago and is one of the luminaries of the Congressional Black Caucus. Unlike his CBC cohorts, at least Davis gets some credit for being open about his admiration for an anti-Semitic black identity extremist.
Daily Caller has more:
“I personally know [Farrakhan], I’ve been to his home, done meetings, participated in events with him,” Davis told TheDC.
“I don’t regard Louis Farrakhan as an aberration or anything, I regard him as an outstanding human being who commands a following of individuals who are learned and articulate and he plays a big role in the lives of thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of people,” he emphasized later.
Davis told TheDC “it wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary” for him to meet with Farrakhan and said that Farrakhan isn’t considered a fringe character in his hometown of Chicago.
When asked about Farrakhan’s history of anti-Semitic comments, Davis was dismissive and said that many people in politics have a history of inflammatory comments.
Democrats are bad, bad people. Anybody questioning that?
Do Jewish American Democrat voters not see what Dems stand for?
