If an image of Barack Obama in the crosshairs was posted by a prominent conservative, that person would soon need to hire full-time private security.
Check out what CNN’s Chris Cillizza just did.
Will the left think this is in poor taste?
From Daily Caller:
CNN editor-at-large Chris Cillizza posted a gif containing crosshairs over the image of President Trump on Tuesday.
The original tweet read, “Donald Trump, pointing to heavens to commemorate police officers killed in the line of duty,” and showed green crosshairs over the president’s face.
Here we have CNN’s Chris Cillizza posting an image of crosshairs around the president of the United States of America.

I’ve deleted a GIF about President Trump. We use @GifGrabber to make our GIFs and it defaults to the image below as a first frame. To clear up any unintended confusion, I’ve removed the tweet. pic.twitter.com/x6PCKoiW16

Washington Times has more:
Mr. Cillizza later deleted the tweet when people began taking him to task and reporting him to Twitter as having encouraged an assassination attempt.
He said the graphic was a GIF program that defaults to that image as its first frame.
“To clear up any unintended confusion, I’ve removed the tweet,” he wrote.
The answer is no. The left will not find Cillizza’s tweet to be in poor taste.
