White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders is good at her job because she’s well prepared.
When CNN’s Jim Acosta wouldn’t let up over the term “border defense,” Sanders was ready.
Check out the fiery exchange…
From BizPac Review:
The briefing followed an unprecedented move by President Trump who allowed the press to attend nearly an hour of a bipartisan meeting at the White House discussing immigration, according to The Daily Caller. Nearly a dozen Republican and Democrat members of Congress negotiated immigration reform, border security and related issues as reporters were allowed to observe and film what would normally be a closed-door meeting.
In the press briefing that followed, Acosta asked if the “wall has to be part of a deal” in border security, to which Sanders responded that border security “has to be part of the process,” although it “doesn’t necessarily mean a physical wall.”
“You understand Democrats are saying they may not be in favor of this kind of deal?” he asked, setting up Sanders for the final blow.
Acosta wouldn’t let up. Sanders then fired back, saying: “Jim I’m not negotiating with you. I’ll let Congress take care of that.”
Sanders for the win!
Sorry, not sorry, Jim.
Better luck next time!
