Senator John McCain has been keeping a relatively low profile as of late, it could be that the increased scrutiny on Fusion GPS and the phony dirty dossier that was used for a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign has caused him no small amount of anxiety.
Now that some Republicans in Congress are calling for another special counsel into the politicization of the Justice Department and FBI in the plot to topple President Trump, a lot of people involved with that dossier likely aren’t sleeping soundly and McCain was a key figure in getting it to the FBI.

In a tweet, he shared a new report that finds a record number of journalists were imprisoned in 2017.

The report, compiled by the Committee to Protect Journalists, found that 262 journalists worldwide have been imprisoned this year in retaliation over their work.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told Politico at the time the report was “really ridiculous.”
“The president isn’t against free speech but we do think reporting should be accurate,” she wrote in an email.
On behalf of the informed American public, please stop.
Fake news is very real, and Trump is the number one target. To think otherwise would be utterly foolish!
